How to Enroll in Mobile Banking:

  • Log in to Online Banking
  • Select Options > Mobile Settings > Web Mobile Banking
  • Select Enable Web Access for your mobile device
  • Select to receive/ not receive text message alerts
  • Enter the mobile phone number
  • Select wireless provider
  • Select account(s) to access via your mobile device
  • Select "Submit"
  • Review information
  • Select "Confirm"

Mobile Deposit Capture allows clients to deposit checks quickly and easily from a smartphone (iPhone® and Android) into a deposit account.

What are the benefits of using Mobile Deposit Capture?

The number one benefit is convenience. Mobile Deposit Capture allows you to deposit a check(s) 24 hours/day, 7 days a week.

Am I required to use it?

No, not at all. You can continue to make deposits as you do today and receive the same level of service you have come to expect from IBERIABANK.

Who is eligible to use Mobile Deposit Capture?

IBERIABANK Personal or Small Business clients with the following:

• Enrollment in Online Banking for greater than 30 days.

• Enrollment in Mobile Banking.

• An IBERIABANK business or personal or savings account.

• An iPhone or Android.

What accounts can accept Mobile Deposit Capture deposits?

IBERIABANK Personal or Small Business checking or savings accounts.

Is there a fee for Mobile Deposit Capture?

No. There is no fee for using the Mobile Deposit Capture to deposit your checks into an IBERIABANK checking or savings account.


What do I need to get started?

1. An IBERIABANK Personal or Small Business checking or savings account.

2. A smartphone (iPhone® or Android).

3. The latest version of IBERIABANK Mobile app.

To download the IBERIABANK mobile app – Visit the App store or Google Play on your smartphone. Search for IBERIABANK and download it.

How do I make a deposit using Mobile Deposit Capture?

Mobile Deposit iPhone Instructions:

• Using your iPhone, log into IBERIABANK Mobile Banking.

• Click the "More" icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

• Select "Deposits".

• Select "Capture" (to the right of Check Front).

• Take a picture of the front of the check.

• Click the "Use" button or retake if necessary.

• Select "Capture" (to the right of Check Back).

• Take a picture of the back of the check.

• Click the "Use" button or retake if necessary.

• Enter the check amount and click "Done".

• Select "To Account" and select the depositing account from the list of accounts.

• Click "Deposit Check".

• Select the "Review Deposit" button.

Mobile Deposit Android Instructions:

• Using your Android, log into IBERIABANK Mobile Banking.

• Tap the "Deposit" icon on the bottom navigation bar.

• Tap "Check Front" icon (top left).

• Take a picture of the front of the check.

• Tap the "Check mark" button or "Done" button if acceptable. Retake if necessary.

• Tap "Check Back" icon (top right corner).

• Take a picture of the back of the check.

• Tap the "Check mark" button or "Done" button if acceptable. Retake if necessary.

• Enter the check amount and tap "Done".

• Tap the "To Account" and select the depositing account from the list of accounts.

• Tap "Deposit Check".

• Tap the "Review Deposit" button.

Note: When taking an image of a check, please be sure all four corners of the check are in view. For each deposit, a deposit notification from [email protected] will be sent to your Online Banking email address.

Is there a limit or any restrictions with mobile deposits?

Mobile Deposit Limitations: Clients enrolled in Online Banking greater than six months - $2,500/day (up to 10 items) and $5,000/month (up to 30 items); Clients enrolled in Online Banking less than six months - $1,000/day (up to 10 items) and $3,000/month (up to 20 items).

Do I still need to endorse the checks I'm depositing through Mobile Deposit?

Yes.

What is the cut-off time for processing the checks?

Checks may be deposited at any time, however, if you would like a deposit processed on the same business day, the deposit must be submitted by 4:00 P.M. Central Time.

How will I know that my deposit was submitted?

For each deposit, a deposit notification from [email protected] will be sent to your Online Banking email address.


When will the funds that I deposited through Mobile Deposit Capture be available?

The next business day.

What do I do with the check once I've submitted the image?

Please keep your check in a secure location until you have verified the deposit posted to your account. After that time, the check(s) should be destroyed.

What happens to the image?

An image of the check goes to the bank, and we begin the standard process of collecting money from the check writer.

Should I be concerned with the security of Mobile Deposit Capture?

At IBERIABANK our goal is to protect the integrity of your account. And while we take every step possible to safeguard your information, there are steps you may take as well to protect yourself and your account.

• Do not throw the checks out with the trash.

• Do not keep the originals in a file folder for an indefinite period of time.

• After the original check has been successfully imaged and processed, the original item should be destroyed. Why? Checks are like cash. They should be treated as negotiable instruments.
